Powerboat Training Level 1

RYA Powerboat Level 1 training courses, for 8 years old upwards, provides training for Power Boat drivers. On this first step in the RYA powerboat training scheme you will learn how to, launch from a trailer, prepare for sea and safely drive a small powerboat or RIB by day.

Our training boat is a 5.6 Metre RIB which has a 2 Stroke 75 HP engine which has been especially configured as a training vessel for safety & stability. Alternatively you could complete your training course on your own RIB or power boat as own boat tuition. On completion of Powerboat level 1 students can progress to the RYA Powerboat Level 2 training course when they have attained the age of 12.

Course Fee Includes:

• All materials and manuals to complete your course
• Instruction by one of our specialist RYA Powerboat Instructors
• Powerboat level 1 course certification on successful completion training
• On board we have all the RYA recommended safety equipment
• For your personal comfort & safety we provide Life Jackets & Safety equipment
• Refreshments during the powerboat course are provided. But not lunch.
