RYA Coastal Skipper / Yachtmaster Theory Course

Advanced training for more experienced mariners building on the Day Skipper theory course.

This is a 5-day course with 40-hours of tuition plus exam/assessments and homework.

This course will enable you to navigate safely on coastal and offshore passages. This course will take your theory knowledge to the standard required for the Coastal Skipper and Yachtmaster Offshore practical exams, concentrating on advanced navigation and meteorology skills.

2 Charts, Work Sheets / Questions, Day Skipper workbook, 2 Assessment papers.

There will be additional equipment such as Portland Plotters and dividers available for your use during the course as well as other advanced publications.

All these are also available for purchase. If you already have your own equipment please feel free to bring it along for use on your course.
